this article is not rocket science and it is easy enough to understand. it just explains how the first set of "official" numbers had been misstated and how they were eventually revised downward.


basically, our newly revised GDP was down from the previously stated numbers this month. ALL of the growth in GDP is due to government intervention, and the rest of the economy is still tracking negative. that is important news to know for people who are still working.

In my view, celebrating the fact that those who have been fortunate enough to weather this recession and are taking advantage of rock bottom prices and rock bottom interest rates is silly. When an UNEMPLOYED person GETS A JOB and then BUYS A HOUSE.....then i'll find reason to rejoice.
