All the dems worked very hard for the american public and should be able to take a nice expensive vacation somewhere in the world that cost as much as we can afford.

Uh, it's Christmas time. Also, I hope some people don't think that taxpayers pay for all of the Obama's things because they were pretty wealthy people way before he became President. I don't even support Obama's politics and I have to say that it is just a trip. Plus, there are kids involved, he has children, they need to spend time like this with their family.

Has anyone done the math on what this will cost the taxpayers who are probably paying for this unless the Obamas have few million dollars spare change to pay for this themselves?

If the other two houses cost the same as the one the President will be staying in, that means a total of $12k per day. Multiply that by 24 for a two week rental and it comes to $288,000. That doesn't include food or transportatation or entertainment except for the generous welcome gift from the landlord of Taro chips left on the kitchen counter for the President and an undecorated Christmas tree outside.

Remember the President had an intimate gathering of 50 people in the White House for Thanksgiving. Who knows how much event that cost us? If he has a few events like that here in Hawaii, triple the cost for each event. I bet before everything is said and done this vacation will set the American Taxpayer back in the millions of dollars or well over one million anyway. With that said , the President BETTER have a good time. Certainly for all the good that has come to his constituents since he's been elected he deserves a classy 20 STAR vacation paid for by the American Taxpayer right? After all, doesn't money grow on trees? Why should the President spare any expense despite the fact that most Americans are and will be for the next several years just to pay dfor goverment programs they don't want or care about? After all we are the lowly serfs whose purpose in life is to slave away to make as much money as we can to hand over to the Federal Goverment elites.

You do know that this vacation is coming out of Obama's pocket right? Sorry, try again.
