What makes you say that there has been a decrease in crime since the early 70's? I don't think that's accurate.

The reason that the drop in Crime Rates - specifically, Violent Crime Rates - is due to the fact that more Americans are exercising their Second Amendment Rights and becoming responsible, trained owners of firearms to protect family, self and property in these godless and socialist times...

If this is your thesis, it's not a good one.

For one, crime trends didn't decrease after Roe v. Wade in 1973, they actually increased. Crime rates didn't begin to fall until 1993. 1993 is the really big date in recent U.S. crime trends - violent crime numbers have fallen dramatically since that year.

Don't forget in life that there is just so much gray. You'll never find issues to be so black and white as it appears you want to make them, or that they make them on Fox or MSNBC. The world is a whole lot of gray and there are multitudes of reasons why things happen.

Think about what you just said. How old are most criminals? Subtract the year Roe v. Wade passed from the year the crime rate started to drop. Hello?
