I liked what this guy had to say and would be interested in hearing more about his stance on the issues.
As I was very impressed with Arlen Specter. Especially since he's gone even more liberal since swithching sides.

And the best part?

Spector's vote actually matters while this Blue Dog Democrat House member's doesnt.

Specter was always considered a moderate or middle-of-the-road. Democrat-lite. He was challenged in the last primary by a Santorumesque right wing extremist who was set to challenge him again. Knowing that he was going to have to spend a lot of money to fend off the challenge, he switched parties. Many Democrats voted for Specter even when he was a Republican.

The reason you pay attention to the initial behind the name is that the initial is what determines who controls the House or Senate. The party that controls the House or Senate is the party that controls the committees and the legislation. If you don't agree with an initial's philosophy, you likely don't want the adherents of that philosophy controlling the legislation.

Too soon a call on judgement. I have to learn much more about him before posting an honest opinion. I just might lean towards liking the guy.

I can't stand that.

By many accounts, I should be a Republican, but Id rather be a Democrat because I don't question their motives. The Dems truly want to help ALL AMERICANS and of that much, I am very confident. I might hate much of what they say and do, but the core of their work is totally geared towards improving our lives.

I don't trust a damn thing most GOP lawmakers say blame Bush and Cheney for that. Blame Trent Lott for that. Blame John ******** for that. Blame Tom DeLay for that. Blame Dick Armey for that. Blame the corporate media for that.

I'd be more impressed if he became an Independent or a Libertarian.

The rich corporations have never done better since hussein obama was elected. He has bailed them out both foreign and domestic. The Insurance companies are going to be rolling in the dough when Americans are forced to buy health insurance.

Parker Griffith knows hussein obama is ruled by the far left and is not good for this country. More should grow some and step forward.

Not true, blue dogs are admired by the Republicans. Everyone, including the Dems know they are de-facto Republicans anyway.
