What's Use Cash? - Use Cash

$7 Billion to get you to use plastic.* - Why? - Use Cash

I never really thought about the effect I could have on the banks bottom line by using cash more.

I plan on switching from Bank of America to a local credit union once I get approved to join the credit union.
I recently got a letter from my credit card company stating they are gonna change my 9% fixed interest Visa card to a variable rate in Feb, since they apparently feel they aren't making enough money off me.

Well, my cards disappeared out of my wallet the same day, and were replaced with a monthy "allowance" of Jacksons. Bye Bye cornhole-ing plastic peddlers! I don't need ya anyway!

I spend too much $$ to haul cash around with me.

I put everything on an AMEX for points and convenience, then pay it in full every month.

My bank is a credit union.

When you get down to it, what do we really need?
A place to live, food, petrol, and the basics; the rest is fru-fru.
Good enough is enough; top-of-the-line is rarely worth the price.

If we live within our means, we don't have to worry about debt.

You do have a good point, do you know how many People live way beyond there means, then when something happens, they cannot understand how, I know People like this, they have to have everything the jones's have. To me that is stupid, if you cannot afford it, then you don't need it.

Good old cash, and my credit card is a debt card, like it that way. Some large ticketed items, i might use a credit card, but pay it off immediately. Credit Cards is such a trap, been there done that never ever again. For we are not debt free, and i like it this way.

I just wish they made $3 bills. I'd use them all the time.
