Not taking on Corporate interests. ( Caving into GOP and Blue Dog demands that insurance, drug, hospitals, and doctors, and the ultra rich make no sacrfice at all)
The problem with "progressives" is real life. Some insulated academic lives in La-La land, worshipped for his ideas, but without a clue regarding reality and impact of their ideas, how things work, what things cost or what has to be done to implement.
This is also why you also need to elect a President who has some real life managerial experience somwhere on his resume. Look they can go to some ivy league school and even be elected to Congress. It's just that somewhere between graduate degree and President, we should be able to see evidence that they've balanced a budget, done some planning, paid taxes and know how taxes impact people, hired people, dealt with customers, know what things cost, made deals, are capable of taking an idea through to implentation, etc.
