I really don't want to get into a discussion about the electoral college, but I don't understand how 'lightning quick communications' in any way impacts the electoral college -- just look at 2000 and 2004 (yes, the internet has evolved more since then but that really doesn't matter in this context). As long as the electoral vote matters and the popular vote doesn't, the electoral college won't be obsolete.

The margin was 7.26%, almost TRIPLE Bush's 04 margin. While it might not technically be a landslide it was a large win.

He's not delivered on those and a coming string of negatives is very likely to sink him. The trivial things like this just add to the public's perception that he's not like most Americans or at least what they want to see in their leaders.

Most Americans really liked Reagan by the way. Obama will never reach that level of regard, nor FDR's.

Again the only people who give two craps about something like this would never vote for Obama, and likely haven't voted for a Democrat since LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act.

Several posters have said this, yet Cava still hasn't replied directly to this issue. Nor has he addressed the incumbency issue...

What sense would it make to go to a Christian church to celebrate a Pagan holiday?

Not all churches hold Christmas services right on Christmas day. My church held its Christmas service Sunday evening so we could enjoy this day with our families.
