Didn't see any stories about it. If not, how long since a President didn't attend Christmas services?

Who cares if he went to Church or not? Not all Christians go to Church on "Christmas".

Most presidents do. Why the quotes around Christmas?

So? Whether or not President Obama attended church today has no implications regarding his ability to govern. I'm assuming he went, if only to avoid the possibility of a media-driven scandal about him not going. Really, these kinds of issues are incredibly trivial yet get so much more attention than 'real' issues of importance... So distracting.

Meh, much ado about nothing. I'd rather he didn't go if he doesn't believe then be a hypocrite who shows up with a bible in hand and a posse of photags.....(coughcoughBillClintoncoughcough)

Through the years Presidents did attend church services at Christmas. However, if they aren't living it all through the year, and many have proven they don't, I'm sure God isn't impressed anyway. So, I no longer pay attention to when or when not they go to church.

His church of choice is the one at Camp David. And whether on not he went to church on Christmas day is no concern of mine. But would it really be fair of him to cause the kind of uproar it would cause to the locals if he showed up on one of the most important church holidays of the year and maybe make it impossible to those who usually attend that particular church to even get in the doors and past the Secret Service?
