SafeMinds Response to Thimerosal and Autism Pediatrics Study
"The long awaited study that has been in the works for almost a decade regarding investigation between thimerosal and autism was published September 13, 2010 in Pediatrics. This study was funded by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and conducted by several parties with an interest in protecting vaccine use:CDC staff involved in vaccine research and promotion; Abt Associates, a contract research organization whose largest clients include vaccine manufacturers and the CDC's National Immunization Program; America's Health Insurance Plans, the trade group for the health insurance industry; and three HMOs which receive substantial funding from vaccine manufacturers to conduct vaccine licensing research.."
That has to be one of the most laughingly innacurate articles I have ever read:
The "science" from medical journals presented to the courts in not reliable/ The medical "science" evidence-base has become institutionally and systematically corrupt since US President Ronald Reagan introduced the Bayh-Dole Act in the 1980's The data and analysis shown here has been through a process of peer review including presenting this article to Michael Rutter - no comment. Hideo Honda - no comment. Tony Charman - no comment. Andy Hall - no comment. Head of UK HPA - no comment. Blackwell Publishing - no comment. It has also been presented to others (OK, who?) including an expert in the assessment of adverse drug reactions.
So people are willing to accept what amounts to a completely non-reviewed article over real peer-reviewed data with links verified sources. Every graph posted in the link is accompanies by an inaccurate label.
You are really reaching here. What does this have to do with childhood immunizations?

The potency of 10 microM thimerosal to increase the [Ca2+]i was less than that of 10 microM methylmercury. Their effects on the [Ca2+]i were greatly attenuated, but not completely suppressed, under external Ca(2+)-free condition, suggesting a possibility that both agents increase membrane Ca2+ permeability and release Ca2+ from intracellular calcium stores.
autism is GENETIC...has NOTHING to due with vacines
