On a very rare occasion, I tend to agree with you; however, already knowing you will twist any, ANY thread to give you the opportunity to bash Bush or the past administration, I hope the rest of your threads get taken just as easily. Reporter. Hah.

That's just plain scary when our government officials start thinking it's okay for us to start
preemptive wars. Didn't we learn anything from doing that in Iraq?

Thank god Bush is no longer President or we would have invaded Yemen.
Well, gotta disagree with the OP. Invading Yemen would have annoyed the Saudis too much and we know W would never do anything to PO the Saudis.

Based on some of the things Sen. Lieberman has said lately, I'm starting to think he lives in a cave without access to the 24/7 newscycle.

As has already been pointed out, we have already 'preemptively' attacked Yemen. Sen. Lieberman really needs to get out more.

And, as Rachel Maddow just reminded us, President Obama made several statements during and after the campaign concerning the threat posed by factions within Yemen and followed through by ordering said airstrikes. Those nuts from Al Qaeda actually claimed the airstrikes as the reason for sending their stooge to Detroit.
I guess if it ain't a lobbyist from The Hartford, it doesn't register on Ole' Joe's consciousness.
