I just read a chilling account about the execution of 1,300 prisoners in Southeast Asia. They brought in a native priest to hear their confessions, marched them to the killing ground, made them dig their own graves, and then shot each in the head. The body of the priest swung from a noose overhead. They then proceeded to kill every male they could find over the age of 10.

Who do you think did it?

Pol pot may have been responsible for about 2 million deaths. They absolutely despised educated people and saw them as threats.

Hollywood made a decent movie -- "The Killing Fields" -- based on a real life story. The escaping guy went on to work for NYTimes.

It's been glossed over -apparently some political reasons for keeping it under wraps.
