you have to have a fully employed job base to generate that "tax revenue", but we have rising unemployment!

if we have an oversupply of labor, WHICH WE DO, pumping in illegal immigrants just increases the cost on working americans to maintain the immigrants/ unemployed (with social services, ER/free clinic health care, education, benefits, etc.)

if liberals understood THAT, we might have a country that could get back on track financially.

the lesson is don't bring in more workers than your economy can adequately handle!

I think they understand it but they are bought and owned by the cheap labor corporations and are working for them, certainly not working for the American middle class.

It's just like Obama telling the fools in Ohio that he planned to take another look at NAFTA but turned around and made it clear to his global masters that he only said that to get votes. Obama lied. Now he plans to invite in tens of millions more people even though job creation has been nil.

I think the health care bill will be signed by the time he takes this one up. I'm sure this will be considered as part of comprehensive immigration reform, just as the public option was during the development of the health care bill. Doesn't mean it will happen but could be used as a bargaining chip.
