I would follow protocol which could take a number of avenues based on events as they unfold. Ultimately that could involve seeking special authority from the President or not.

By the way, letting the military handle it's not going to get you anything more. They're bound by Army Field Manual.

Oh now it's personal? I'm just talking interrogation. I'm not even talking "enhanced interrogation". I'm just talking treating him like any other criminal. If you do, you won't even be able to attempt to interrogate him (torture aside).
