Blaming George Bush for 9/11 is comparable to Clinton having unprotected sex with a girl in November of 2000 and then claiming Bush was the father because it was "born on his watch". Apparently no one remembers the Cole, Khobar Towers, the first WTC bombing, Oklahoma City, Atlanta Olympics, the American Embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania, and bombings of American military personnel in Saudia Arabia.

Clinton's refusal to treat these attacks as terroristic in nature ultimately led to 9/11. Clinton's hatred for the military was evident throughout his administration.

I thought this was a refresher Poll, not a revisionist poll.

So,...you are claiming that NONE of these happened on Clinton's watch?

Facts are in evidence to support all these attacks.

The left seems quick to blame the Bush administration for all the economic/military ills of the present, but whitewash the Clinton administration.

You can't have it both ways. Your logic is flawed.

Yes poor George

Some say they would rather be lucky than good. G.W. Bush proved that being unlucky and incompetent is a disastrous combination.

I have never seen anyone deny those things happened during Clinton's administration...where do you think anyone tried to hide it???????

BUSH was given daily memos on bin Laden which he chose to IGNORE while he played golf....

BUSH decided as early as 1997 that he should start a war in Iraq

BUSH was SO conveniently lucky to have 9/11 six months into HIS administration when his poll numbers were REALLY LOW and a patriotic speech, for some illogical reason, boosted his ratings....and got him support for attacking somebody! ANYBODY! LET'S GET REVENGE!!!

and so he got his war in Iraq....

What part of the "REVISIONIST" comment do you not understand?

Some of us were paying attention during the Clinton administration. It was pretty hard to ignore his hatred for the military leading to the declaration that most of the aforementioned attacks were "police matters" instead of terrorism.

Clinton was a draft-dodging, military hater who repeatedly let the terrorists attack American soil. Clinton paid a lot of "lip service" to the attacks, but was too busy conducting popularity polls to make a decision. IMO, Clinton's lack of action invited 9/11,...after all he turned down bin Laden when given the chance to capture him.

Oh,...and Iraq,.....you need to revisit the quote made during the Clinton administration,...from Clinton down through the Senate and House. Iraq was viewed as threat by both Clinton and the democrats, as borne out by the UN resolutions damning his activities.

You're quite adept at revisionist history yourself.

Bush apparently forgot about the Cole because he did nothing about it, it happened far too late in Clinton's term to allow for an investigation but you knew that, right?

Bush apparently also forgot about the mass murder of Americans on PanAm 103 as he cozied up with and negotiated with the scum behind that attack but you knew that too, right?

Clinton's refusal to treat WTC I as a terror attack? You've apparently forgoten the apprehension/conviction of many involved. Or does that just not fit your agenda?

Yep,..."blame Bush". That fits the agenda of the current administration and most of those on the left. When the answers get tought,....just "blame Bush". You lefties should copyright that phrase,...

Neither the bombing of the Cole nor the bombing of Flight 103 happened on Bush's watch,....but you knew that. It just didn't fit your "agenda". Liberals always want to lay 9/11 squarely at the feet of George Bush, but not the Cole or the other acts of terrorism that happened during the Clinton years. They give the draft-dodging, militarty-hating Clinton a pass.

As for the WTC, history has a record of Clinton's actions. Had Mr. "Zipper-at-Half-Staff" given the first bombing the same attention he gave to the Monica fiasco, then 9/11 just might not have happened.

Dick Cheney? The left's bogeyman.

The Obama administration is flailing about, trying for some semblance of control, and the nitwits on the left throw out Cheney's name for a masturbatory round of smirking and name calling.

Do you all share a smoke afterwards?
