I would suggest that a little research would confirm your statement.

The more I discovered about Gramm the more concerned I became.

IMO he and his wife should not have gotten away with their detrimental actions. The system needs reviewing--badly.

Oh sure, I think that some people are complaining for the sake of complaining (aka "whining"), but a lot of people across the political spectrum are pissed off at how things are going. Even if I don't agree with a person's view, it is his or her right to compain--in fact, I think it is their duty to let their elected representatives know how they feel. If no one complains and raises hell, nothing is going to change.

I agree with LML--if most people knew how many of our problems sprang from Phil Gramm and his wife , they would be calling for their heads instead of spouting this crap. She's every bit as bad as he is and deserves to be in prison, too. And yes, his comments are mean-spirited but exactly what I would expect from someone like him. Jerk.
