As I said, until the terrorist groups start recruiting a different look of people to carryout their attacks, I see no problem profiling. If hurting a few sensitive peoples feeling saves a 300 peoples lives, I don't see the issue.

I think this type of profiling is not in our best interests for 2 reasons.

1) There's a natural tenedency for screeners to relax a bit when checking those who don't fit the 'profile' It's like telling someone to not look at the elephant in the room. WHAT gets their attention then?

2) al Qaeda has $$$. Profile 18-29 YO men? They'll send women, geriatrics, etc.

The only effective way to screen is to treat everyone as a threat, the potential is there.

You must know that not all Arabs are Muslims and not all Muslims are Arabs.
Totality of circumstances, as I said before.

I completely agree with this statement, I have no idea. But, the point is, neither do you.

You apparently have no idea of the things that made the US special during its history, you'd apparently prefer destroying those things. Here's a clue, we didn't become a great nation by cowering in fear and letting the scumbags set our standards of conduct. Grow a spine!

This is such a silly discussion. Profiling on the basis of religion is never going to happen. It's unconstitutional. Have fun getting an amendment through to allow it.

No, treating people on the basis of their religion is.

Always has been, that's sort of why they included those silly amendments called the Bill of Rights.

Thank you, exactly why we need to profile ALL muslim people.

When you lefties open your eyes to see who the terrorist are?

If they were all white men your butts would be surely profiling them to pieces.
