It says that Obama failed to close Guantanamo Bay yet he needed to find a suitable place to put the prisoners and all of the opposition from Republicans did not make for an easy transition. Peace in the Middle East? A war that has been going on for this long wont end in a day and in fact it is a safer place. The part about outreaching to the Muslim community is an outright lie. Obama has been lauded for his connections to the Muslim world. One success? I guess they overlooked healthcare reform for one, maybe they were too busy coming up with a way to spin this article to make it sound bad. I don't feel like going on because you get the picture. Any one can spin anything, it just happens a lot more with these types.
The anti-Obama crowd has their "truth", and I've got mine.
That's a great article and medical reform, even if flawed from a progressive perspective, is the single biggest domestic accomplishment since the New Deal. Also the stimulus (and the second half of TARP, Bush administered the first half & Obama the second) has, according to just about every reasonable economist, saved us from a much worse recession. Sure, since 60% of the stimulus was tax cuts (just try to get a right winger to admit that!) it's more long term then short term stimulus but even John McCain's former chief economic adviser has said it's had a big impact and is working.
Reading the responses on this thread, its amazing to me that even the most rabid followers of Obama still won't acknowledge that Obama's lofty rhetoric was definitely tempered by reality once in office. Just mindboggling.
If Obama's shortcomings and global failings weren't so egregious, it might actually be funny. Shoot the messenger if you want, but you cannot deny the facts.
These are just downright embarrassing...the man is clearly out of his league as a global leader...

The "symbolism over substance" was epitomized with his acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize, and his god awful diplomatic skills were epitomized by his two worthless trips to Copenhagen, and his inability to lead has been epitomized by his allowing Pelosi and Reid to steam roll over him on health care and his signing of pork laden bills.
