President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, said Sunday that former Vice President Dick Cheney's criticism of the Obama administration's approach to the Christmas Day terror attempt is misinformed or intentionally false.

"I'm disappointed. The vice president or others are either willfully mischaracterizing President Obama's actions or are ignorant of the facts," Brennan said on "Fox News Sunday." "I'm neither Republican nor Democrat. I've worked for five previous administrations.....[Obama] says we're at war with Al Qaeda. We're going to destroy Al Qaeda."

Cheney, Rove and several others cannot stand the fact of their irrelevancy. But they do influence a number of other people and that is damaging.

Wow someone from the Obama administration said something bad about Cheney? What next will they try to blame Bush for the underwear bomber? This administration is pathetic.

It seems to drive them crazy you're right. Cheney in particular. Bush was smarter than I thought, he left with his tail between his legs and learned to shut his pie hole for a change.

The fact that they responded to the criticism, lends credence to it.
I have Zero confidence in this admin. to deal with anything effectively.

Cheney "ignorant" of the facts?

Just how arrogant and low can this bunch get? What could they possibly know that Dick Cheney does not? I would submit that Cheney knows far more than this ignorant bunch of A-- holes that are pretending to be important and think themselves to be wise. These people can't even bring themselves to use the words, "terrorist" or "terrorism".

These idiots ignore the facts, and by doing so they are putting this country at great risk.

Disgusting!

And much faster than they even responded to the actual attempt to kill 300 passengers.

To state Cheney's criticism of the admin's approach to the terror attempt is < itself > misinformed or intentionally false as there was no approach or response, other than criticism of Cheney.

Quote:
It speaks eloquently to the Obama administration’s priorities that it took the White House four days to acknowledge the ‘catastrophic breach of security’ that led to the failed bombing of a US-bound jet on Christmas Day — but a scant four hours to accuse Dick Cheney of coddling terrorists.”
This administration has become the political laughing stock of the planet and they're just whining that they were setup by the previous administration. We'd do better with a lipstick wearing pig. At least the joke would be a visual.
