You brought up that homosexual sex cannot produce anything.

Right?

Some anti gay equality people also think it is a medical issue if you are gay.

So why not? It is not different

Infertile couples cannot produce, right? Same thing. I do not see a difference. And what about people who do not want to get pregnant (such as myself)? Should I be denied marrying a man just because I don't want to get pregnant and deal with that disgusting ordeal?

If the mating of heterosexuals is so normal, then why do homosexuals and lesbians have the SAME sex organs that are capable of reproducing? I guess with that line of thinking, homosexuals are normal.
If I were you, I would put that poster on ignore & leave it, you'll never get a rational post....ever.

I'm very concerned about gay rights & since I'm able to multi-task, I can be concerned about this issue along w/a multitude of other issues. It's really not that hard.

I am an example of that. I have had sex with a guy and I have produced nothing. It better stay that way.

Same with infertile couples.

I don't agree with you much, but this time I have to agree with you 100%.

I will never understand those who are freaked out by gay relationships. I am "straight" but my housemate is gay and he is the most decent, kind, caring, compassionate person I know.

I hate that there are those who would deny him the right to follow his heart, marry (if he is lucky enough to find someone who deserves him), etc. Why are folks so against people following their hearts? These folks are not hurting anyone.

The world is so short of love, kindness, compassion. Please be open minded when it comes to those who may live a little differently than you do.

I know. It just makes me sick when these religious nutjobs try and justify denying gays and lesbians any sort of right simply because we supposedly cannot reproduce.

They fear change & they live miserable little lives so to make themselves feel better, they try to make everyone else miserable by being complete jackas*s. It's a disease really.

Right on man. I know we are different but I will never stand for gays not being able to get EQUALITY (be it marriage or civil rights).

I am 100 percent straight but why does it matter if my neighbor who is named Dave marries someone named Nick?

Yeah a disease that needs a cure, and FAST.

Now I don't agree with the legal term "Gay Marriage", I do agree with Civil Unions. IMO "marriage" whether it be straight or gay should be just a civil union. When straights get divorced, what court is it handled in? CIVIL court!
If people want to get married in a church, that's their business, but the legal union that adds the benefits is CIVIL.

I don't know why more lawyers aren't lobbying to get Civil Unions legalized. Just think of all the added business if these Civil Unions end up in Divorce court!

How moronic does that sound? Think about it, if they wanted to marry the opposite sex, they wouldn't be gay now would they? Talk about having your blinders on...

Legally, they are not completely the same as marriage. They are not as exclusive.
