There has never been a right to homosexual marriage. Why would you want the government involved anyways?
So are you saying that we (homosexuals) don't have the right to marry someone we love?
I don't want the government getting involved in my life at all, but when it is perfectly legal for hetero couples to get the legal protections, rights, tax breaks, etc....simply because they are STR8.....then why can't Gays?
The fact that the biggest argument associated with gay rights is about marriage is actually a good thing. It shows how far gay rights and equality have come. It was only 40-50 years ago that you could be arrested and lose your job for simply socializing in a gay bar. People were practically forced out of their towns for being gay.
