Because now we all pay for a natural born citizen who has no father and mother with no income.

That "right" should be for "legally" immigrated people. It was just that word many would have used to ship out the slaves if they did not work for low wages.

The federal government was just getting its feet wet when in came to immigration. Amazing, 150 years later and the federal government stil is not even up to its knees.

Why do we care since Bama was born in Hawaii?

He was born there, right?

We do not propose that when Dred Scott has been decided to be a slave by the court, we, as a mob, will decide him to be free . . . but we nevertheless do oppose that decision as a political rule which shall be binding on the voter . . . the members of Congress or the President. Lincoln

An Act of Congress made them citizens. No Act of Congress made anyone a natural born citizen.

The DNC submitted this certification to the state of Hawaii.

But this certification was submitted to the other 49 states without declaring Obama qualified for presidential office.

LOL that isn't what he said.

If President Obama isn’t constitutionally qualified, it would be the biggest scam ever perpetuated on the American people.
Nobody can disagree with that right? He's not saying he isn't qualified.

Now what does the title of the article and this thread say?

By not unequivocally dismissing any idea he isn't a citizen , he does lend some credence to birther claims.

[M]eeting the constitutional qualifications to be President is a very important issue. If President Obama isn’t constitutionally qualified, it would be the biggest scam ever perpetuated on the American people. MANY people contacted me as Secretary of State prior to and after the election asking how Obama could be on our ballot given this controversy. Absent a court finding that he isn’t a natural born citizen, we have to take the certification from the National Democratic Convention at face value.
His quote doesn't provide a resounding confirmation that Obama is a citizen, only that we are left with no choice but to take the Dems at face value.

Does he have his facts straight when he says" we have to take the certification from the DNC at face value". I thought that a few states were going to make Obama prove citizenship to get on the ballot?Who is right this guy or the states that say they are going to vette Obama?Anyone know?
