How many here actually remember that it was the Cllnton campaign that actually exposed what became the birther movement. She did her thing in the spring of 2008, before the people on the right even started to think about it. Oh, yeah, Hillary started it and got to be Secretary of State in spite of the fact.

IF he was born overseas, where is the proof that he was? Where is the proof that his mother ever left the states before her second marriage? How would she have gotten a newborn to the states without a birth certificate to prove citizenship? Where is THAT birth certificate and passport? Exactly how many hundreds of people over 40 years are in on this conspiracy? Seems to me that you should be asking to see the "real" birth certificate if you don't believe the one on file in Hawaii is real.
The director of Hawaii's Department of Health, Chiyome Fukino, issued a statement confirming that the state held Obama's "original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures".[10][11] Noting "there have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama's official birth certificate", Fukino explained that the department was prohibited by state law from releasing it to "persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record." She stated: "No state official, including Gov. Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawaii."[10][26]
