A bill filed in the New Hampshire legislature, if passed, would effectively nullify Federal gun laws, and provide penalties for those attempting to enforce Federal gun laws in NH.
"...a personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in New Hampshire and that remains within the state of New Hampshire is not subject to federal law or taxation, or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce. It is declared by the legislature that those items have not traveled in interstate commerce."
A step, albeit a small one, in the right direction for the 10th Amendment movement. More needs to be done but it's a start. If passed count this bill as a shot across the bow and notification the several States have had enough of Federal intrusion and meddling in their internal affairs. Way to go New Hampshire!
Which federal gun laws would those be? I don't think it would pass constitutional muster. The interstate commerce clause would apply to that just like it does to the FDA's ability to regulate food grown, sold, and consumed entirely within a state.

There is a bill in committee, HR 875, which would empower the FDA to regulate intrastate food but to the best of my knowledge the FDA is not currently allowed to do so. If they are I'd appreciate knowing about it. Thanks.

Here's one that applies to eggs. Read the Q&A. It applies to intrastate.
And if millions of liberals then moved to New Hampshire, they could outlaw guns using the same argument.

Why? Outlawing them would be unconstitutional. This has nothing to do with the constitution. Its just addressing a dirty trick used by the Feds in the first place. When the feds realized they couldn't attack a civil right directly they abused their authority and attacked it useing interstate commerce as a screen. Its not the only time either. Early drug laws were passed the same way because states would never have allowed the Feds to say what we can or cant put into our bodies. Once people got used to these intrusions real drug laws were & still are easy to get passed.
If the justification for the current Fed intrusions are based on interstate commerce then they dont apply to things not traded between the states.
Its a sound idea & only seems absurd because we are used to abuses.
Looks like NH needs an even heavier influx of those from MA, NY and NJ to straighten them out and get their heads right.
