Well he said that Buddhism doesn't offer the "kind" of forgiveness or redemption that Christianity offers. I wonder what that means.

Yes it was. He was basically saying Christianity was better than Buddhism.

Not only was he saying that, but he was misrepresenting Buddhism at the same time.

Jesus would be appalled by your answer, so repent now. Forgiveness: Lather, rinse and repeat. Tiger Woods can do the same too. I think I answered my own question.

Most don't know Tiger before his
**** run...
He is a poor tipper, he spits often, basically he was a new version of Barry Bonds.

I didn't hear Hume say tiger MUST become Christian to be saved. Hume thinks turning to Jesus has more redemption for Tiger, that is all he said and that is Hume's opinion.

IMO, it would depend on the person and their intentions. Remember when Clinton suddenly found religion with his sex scandals and Rev. Jackson was flown in to counsel Clinton. Jackson was fooling around with his own mistress at the same time and getting her pregnant while he was supposedly helping Clinton with his cheating ways. Roll eyes.

I am Christian but I know there are those who use Jesus as a shield and nothing else. I think Hume is sincere but it won't work if the person does not want to change, no matter what faith you turn to.
