In case anyone hasn't noticed, when it's warm in the West, it's cold in the East and vice versa. Does anyone here know the jet stream is a flexible ribbon of air that is NOT static? The weather over in China, Korea, and Japan has a direct impact on our weather here

No matter how cold it gets, the warmists still come out and proclaim that the current or just finished year is "the warmest ever."

What a bunch of habitual liars.

Do not trust the AGW alarmists. They have been caught repeatedly cooking the books on this.

Remember Climate-gate, Hockey-stick gate, Climate-gate II and the most recent South American data manipulation fiasco, just to name a few.

Before somebody brings it up:

Yes, it is weather and not climate.

The scientists supporting the government funded AGW alarmism movement have been caught cooking the books, yet again:
Quote:
The Fiddling with Temperature Data is the Biggest Science Scandal Ever

New data shows that the “vanishing” of polar ice is not the result of runaway global warming

When future generations look back on the global-warming scare of the past 30 years, nothing will shock them more than the extent to which the official temperature records – on which the entire panic ultimately rested – were systematically “adjusted” to show the Earth as having warmed much more than the actual data justified.

....(More at the link)
Apparently the temperature data in South America, Canada and Siberia regions have been methodically adjusted by the scientists supporting the AGW alarmism movement. Of course those adjustments have all gone in the same direction, which is upwards. This seriously undermines the legitimacy of this data as a basis for claims in recent years that the Earth has been warmer than it has seemed to many people looking on from the outside.

This is a true rejection of science at its worst. If these people were trustworthy, then why would they not be able to simply use the accurate data and let the results be what they may? Obviously, because that would not support their alarmist agenda.

LOL. They have no intention of trying to fix anything.

This is all about the accumulation of power, tax increases and the redistribution of wealth - and not to the poverty stricken and destitute among us, either. They will keep the money and hand it out to their friends for what appear to be well intentioned projects, which will not be successful. In response, the same lefties will insist that not enough was spent and more taxes need to be levied and more, larger projects need to be undertaken, which also will not be successful in achieving their stated goals. And so on.

But the recipients of the grants for these projects will be made hugely wealthy, and the campaign coffers of those politicians who support them will be correspondingly filled and funded as well. If all of this sounds familiar to you, it certainly should. We have seen this pattern time and again here in this country.

Hopefully people will be smarter this time and just say no before any of this is allowed to get fully underway. Although there are already some on the left that have made millions off of this current scam.

Mother Nature handles climate changes. Man has nothing to do with it. The Japanese tsunami tilted the earth on its axis...8 degrees one way and 6 degrees the other and I can't remember which is forward and which is on the axis. This has far more to do with climate change than man could accomplish in 500 or so years. By then, Mother Nature will hit us again.
