They want us to use less oil, they oppose "fracking," they think we consume to much of everything, and they propose alternatives that are more expensive, do not provide satisfactory results, (so-called "green" energy), they cannot supply the needs of our industries (which is just fine with them) and the consumer gets screwed while the Al Gore's are laughing all the way to the bank.

And, have we forgotten the revelation of the emails a few years ago which exposed this whole so-called "crisis" as a hoax; papers supposedly "peer reviewed," but only by like minded individuals? That may be the scandal of the century.
You seriously believe that every major science organisation around the world and 10,000s of scientists around the world, are all in on some huge conspiracy to falsify basic physics and overwhelming evidence? Do you think they are secretly melting the ice in the arctic with some type of ray guns from satellites too?

Your 'scandal of the century' was a few cherry-picked phrases from a couple of stolen emails deliberately taken out of context. It has long been debunked by the facts.

This sort of gullible crazy anti-science conspiracy ideation is truly bizarre.

Of course not, because you refuse to accept that there are other opinions that are just as valid as yours. You will not accept the reality of the exposed emails that revealed AGW as a conspiracy.

"Don't confuse me with facts" - Right?

What a bunch of habitual liars.

Do not trust the AGW alarmists. They have been caught repeatedly cooking the books on this.

Remember Climate-gate, Hockey-stick gate, Climate-gate II and the most recent South American data manipulation fiasco, just to name a few.
Bingo!

DAMN, they hate getting caught!

Of course there is. And no, it's not just from computer models.

Like what? From some tabloid press piece by non-scientists or science-denier blogs full of evidence-free BS, conspiracy theories and pseudoscience?

I've never linked to Daily Kos or Think Progress Or Mother Jones or content provided by them. They aren't legitimate science sources.

Why would I need to do that when there are so many published papers in the science Journals and legitimate mainstream science organisations I can link to?

Btw, I'm not American, I'm Australian.

This is the Onion, but sadly there is more truth here than what deniers believe.

They are down to sourcing a satirical site. That is funny.

China and India ain't gonna do a damn thing. Build dikes.

They AMA must be equally uninformed.
A broadcast meteorologist is not a scientist, let alone a climate scientist. They read out the short term weather forecast on tv or radio.

No, AMS is quite informed. Have you read their position statement on global warming? There was a link to it a few pages back. Here it is again:

2012 American Meteorological Ssociety Information Statement on Climate Change
"It is clear from extensive scientific evidence that the dominant cause of the rapid change in climate of the past half century is human-induced increases in the amount of atmospheric greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), chlorofluorocarbons, methane, and nitrous oxide. The most important of these over the long term is CO2, whose concentration in the atmosphere is rising principally as a result of fossil-fuel combustion and deforestation."
Coleman's ignorant views are not those of the American Meteorological Society, or any other mainstream science organisation worldwide.

Not all opinions are valid.

Opinions about science from lay people who know nothing about science, based purely on evidence-free conspiracy theories, political or religious ideology, and bizarre irrational alternate realities, are not as valid as opinions by scientists backed up by basic physics and overwhelming evidence.

I'm sorry facts confuse you. Perhaps you could try to learn the facts from legitimate science sources instead of swallowing fact-free nonsense or misrepresentations and lies from the tabloid press, shock jocks, or conspiracy blogs.
