What a bunch of habitual liars.

Do not trust the AGW alarmists. They have been caught repeatedly cooking the books on this.

Remember Climate-gate, Hockey-stick gate, Climate-gate II and the most recent South American data manipulation fiasco, just to name a few.
Well, the Founder of The Weather Channel put out a video recently debunking "Global Warming." He says it's a hoax, others have also said it's a hoax, and if any one is credible, it's the founder of The Weather Channel, who spent his life as a meteorologist.

Ah, and we see the typical response to facts that cannot be easily controverted.

The planet has been warming for quite some time now, and this year is simply part of that trend.

Climate normals aren't determined by looking at a single year.
Planet has been warming for over 10,000 years with a short interruption by the little ice age, which ended neighborhood 1850, depending upon who one believes.

Climate normals arent determined by looking at a single century either, particularly when there is an ice in the mix someplace.

Sowing these doubts ensured at least 50 years worth of profits on tobacco and condemned millions of smokers to a premature death in the U.S. The success of that effort has led a host of industries with environmental or health problems—asbestos, chemicals, coal and pharmaceuticals, among others—to adopt this playbook to protect their profits.

There may be no bigger PR problem than climate change. The fossil-fuel industry perceives it as a war on coal and oil. So step one in the successful tobacco playbook is to suggest that more data is needed to confirm any link between the carbon dioxide spewed from fossil-fuel burning and global warming.

So why arent you people fighting for hydro and nukes? Neither produce CO2 The whole reason we have so much fossil fuel energy production is precisely because the enviro whack movements fights both tooth and nail

The weather channel's position statement on climate change.....
Quote:
The climate of the earth is indeed warming, with an increase of approximately 1 - 1 1/2 degrees Fahrenheit in the past century, more than half of that occurring since the 1970s. The warming has taken place as averaged globally and annually; significant regional and seasonal variations exist.
Impacts can already be seen, especially in the Arctic, with melting glaciers, thawing permafrost, and rapid retreat and thinning of sea ice, all of which are affecting human populations as well as animals and vegetation. There and elsewhere, rising sea level is increasing coastal vulnerability.
