Just put a lemon in your drink. That should help. If not, all the crap in a coke should kill just about anything.

Seriously though, if you are eating fast food you are killing yourself slowly anyways. Might as well have another reason to stop eating that crap.

Read the article. They don't contain fecal matter. It claims they have coliform, a bacteria often found in fecal matter. News flash--your mouth, stomach and guts are already FULL of bacteria.

Do you get sick every time you have a fountain soft drink? If not, don't worry about it.

Drink fountains are a Catch 22. If the fountain has a prong that you push, then at refill time everyone is leaving mouth germs on the prong, which then end up on YOUR cup. If the foutain is the push-button kind, you take away every germ you can imagine right before you grasp your hamburger.

I think its time for motion sensors like the soap dispensers and sink faucets have these days.

I used to be a health inspector. If you saw/knew half of what I do, you'd never eat at a restaurant again.

free refills is exactly the reason that they started putting longer arms on self-serve fountains. They hit the cup much lower than the rim of the cup now. I'm sure some of the old kind are still out there, though.
