When has Yemen been stable, anyone recall the Cold War? South Yemen was terrorist central training grounds. IRA, Black September, Japanese Red Army, Bader Meinhof all trained there.

But, if we close Guatanomo, the terrorists will not be able to recruit new terrorists and terrorism will just magically go away, so that will take care of the problem in Yemen also! Or so our dopey president would have you believe....
