A year into the presidency, and the GOP continues to say Obama is a "Socialist" which clearly isn't 1) Honest 2) Accurate or 3) Rational.
Besides how ridiculous and uneducated it comes across as, I think I can safely say it's run it's course. It was baseless to begin with, and like most of their other lies, proven to be completely false. But for some reason, they continue to say it. Why is this? Will they ever stop saying it despite reality?
When the blame Bush for everything crowd stops maybe so will the socialist idea.
At least the socialist idea is the truth.
Reality is people who love socialism do not like it being used because it shows what they believe in and they know that is it wrong.
Prove to us that Obama is "not" using socialist ways to operate and maybe we will stop using it.
This is not a answer constructed via critical thinking, this is just non sense. The GOP faithful have never been able to produce a shred of evidence to Obama truly being a "Socialist".
If you make the claim, the burden of proof lay on you to back it up, not the other way around.
Maybe he's not a socialist in the sense of a Stalinist or some other crackpot form of socialism, but every "solution" he comes up with always involves the government. Whenever he utters the word "free market" or "free enterprise", he never says it as a good thing, almost like it's a plague to be avoided. He's certainly no capitalist lover.

So you are forming your opinion based on a perceived tone in his voice? With no facts to back your assertion. Gotcha.

You laid the original claim that he is not, now back it up or just drop it.

Sorry, but that's not how it works. You claim he is a "Socialist", then please give us data to back your claim. Nobody can seem to do this, and a year later they are still making these bogus claims.
If you read through it, it shows he attended a Democratic Socialist meeting in 1996. Now, why else would you attend if you weren't sympathetic to socialism? But if Obama's ex-climate czar Van Jones doesn't prove to you that he's friendly toward socialists and communists, then you're already in denial.
