Very good job of exposing what I see as truth but I wonder why the names of people like Chris Dodd and Barney Frank weren't included in the piece. Some names of those who will manage to cover themselves, just as before but why don't we see those Congressmen who are so heavily involved included?

"This is the bipartisan panel that Congress mandated last spring to investigate the still murky story of what happened in the meltdown."

Financial meltdown? Just a paper China Syndrome.

I had forgotten how "pretty" the hairdos of the late 70s and early 80s really were.

BTW, what does that whole thing have to do with the OP? I fail to see your point in this thread.

There needs to be a full bipartisan investigation as to what exactly happened, who the key players were, and how it was allowed to happen so as not to repeat it.

My guess is that people such as Timothy Geithner are neck deep in it. My hope is that there won't be some partisan effort to conceal and protect the key players.

Didn't our financial meltdown go the whole way to China?

They did leave out the names of quite a few politicians.. greed is bad and there obviously was a ton of it, but it needed the ability to progress as far as it did and that's why certain people need to be tried and punished. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/19/bu...9cisneros.html
It was treasonous behavior and that should be the crime as well as the punishment...

now bring in the token lemming or two that will spew some garbage without any basis in fact...
