So says...Bill Clinton. The second democrat today caught making racist remarks about obama during the 2008 campaign.

Teddy's anger - Ben Smith - POLITICO.com

Quote:
But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
More confirmation that the party that displayed blatant racism during the election was the democrat party.

I don't get it. How was that a racist statement? You must be assuming that getting coffee for someone is a stereotype of black people. Seems like an odd assumption.

There is a guy who I thought was a girl who sells newspapers on Sundays here. I think he is mulatto. Is that offensive?

I mean, he would make a really pretty girl. Has great bone structure.

I don't think Obama would have been a good coffee getter. I think he would make a great weatherman though.

That statement means that Clinton did not consider Obama an equal. That is racist.

I don't know what the point of it was, I assume it could be that Obama was a nobody until recently. If he had said a few years ago he would have been working at Target would that have been racist?

Sure it does, if you are desperate to stretch a story into something.

Racist and not elitist?

Maybe he thought Obama was poor because he wasn't Husky like Bill and Ted.
