Saddam meeting Rumsfield in 1980s. Even though the US then knew he was a tyrant, they still supported his war on Iran and aided him then too.

Yet many continue refusing to believe we have and do support some of the biggest SOBs in the world when it suits our agenda. It's time we learned "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is pure BS, all too often the enemy of our enemy is also our enemy.

You've said NOTHING that makes the case policing this intertwined world is the responsibility of the US.

Since this isn't a government site I can not post more than that. There is more than enough evidence there if you really cared. I know you don't though, so it is what it is...

WHY should I look further? You continue to avoid the very simple question even though you've claimed to be quite familiar with the Constitution.

WHERE in the Constitution is the US Government tasked with policing the world, removing 'evil' as it sees fit? Until you answer that all your other commentary about Saddamm this and Saddam that is irrelevant.

I wonder how many people know that when Russia was engaged in a war with Afghanistan, that the USA supplied arms and intelligence to Afghan fighters to whip russia?

I think when all is said and done, and if my USA is ever at peace with the world, then and only then can we begin to do the correct thing, and not go about the world killing people. It may already be way too late for America to change it's policies, because there are countries and dictators who would love to take from us what we have.
Yeah, we founded a lot of intelligence to the freedom fighters. Many try to claim that those freedom fighters were Osama et all and continue to do so even in the face of evidence from both sides stating otherwise.

There will be no peace -- not that I wouldn't like peace too -- until nuclear proliferation is not a threat. As long as nuclear bombs and the technology to commit mass murder exist and is sought out by people more than willing to use that technology then the the world that wants peace will have to confront them. Who wants to go through another Cold War where Islamic fanatical who are more than willing to blow themselves up are in control of that power?

We are on the cusp of human history where we have the power of the stars in our hands. If one believes other species through the universe have popped up this is the point where they, as a whole, make the decision do we self-extinct or do we move forward? One can only expect that if we do go into extinction it would only be a few generations after nuclear technology is achieved.

The evidence of that possibility is overwhelming to our presidents and that is why wars are escalating and why we seem to be in a state of perpetual war despite campaign rhetoric. To ignore that threat and act like it could never happen would be the worst of all crimes.

Why did you even need to do that? That was already in the videos posted but the video you posted is 8 seconds long and seeks to exclude context.

Ohh look another one. Let me guess, you decided not to watch the video either and instead wanted to do a fly-by-streaking to act like you know something.

We have much, much more to concern ourselves with other than new nuclear threats, as evidenced on 9/11 and just recently with panty bombers, some of these people would be content just to kill 100 Americans, let alone thousands, or even millions.
The nuclear devices dropped on Japan should be sobering thoughts to people though, as babies are still being born with defects largely due to the radiation, many years later. Talk about WMD's ??!!

I dont know why a lot of people consider Saddam to be the only bad guy, when other Arabic/African leaders commit the same acts against people who opposes them.
