We're one of the so-called "wealthiest states" in the US and our fiscal condition ranks down there with CA.

I find it hard to believe these are the 10 best educated states. Maine's largest industry is seasonal tourism. That doesn't draw a lot of PhD's. Vermont's smartest residents are only residents during ski season. New Jersey? Jesus, don't even get me started on that state. Wisconsin? Have you ever BEEN to Wisconsin? Not buying it. Montana: Where men are men, and sheep are afraid.

Sorry, but whatever link the mod cut obviously went to a site that has really jacked up metrics for determining what "educated" is.
