It took 24 hours to get to Haiti, but 5 days to get to New Orleans. Sums up how inept Dubya really was.
It took four days for Obama to get off the golf course and make a statement about a terrorist incident on a plane that threatened Americans......but it takes him only 24 hours to politicize an earthquake, in another country, and throw yet MORE tax dollars to a country that the U.S. has already sent 3 billion plus over the last several years, yet the country was still in shambles, even pre-quake.
Nothing like a good natural disaster to divert attention away from the dismal job Obama and his cronies are doing here at home.
+1 for you!
You got it.
The reason he jumped all over this is to divert attention to the HC bill. Knowing the growing majority of Americans do not want it.
He was taught in his rules for radicals book to control the message.
The American people have donated over 4 million dollars so far, which is great but the Presidunce is using this disaster to his advantage to cover up the talk about the scam care bill. Sad.
Compare and contrast New Orleans and Haiti. We have a president that showed NO hesitation, asked NO person and took ACTION immediately to send help to Haiti. He has acted 100% like a President and a leader. He has made all of very proud on this. The rest of the world- as far away as China- is following his lead on this. Millions of Americans are also following his lead in giving money and time to help.
Compare that to The Idiot (W) that refused to help even his fellow Americans until it got so embarrassing that he had to do something several days later. It is nice to have a real leader that we can be proud of for a change!
Yes, I am so glad that Obama is quick to support other nations instead of the US. He is truely a citizen of the world and not the POTUS. Of course, Bush was just an idiot when he sent aid to Iran after thier earthquake. I am so glad that we have an enlightened humanitarian in office. All the unemployed citizens and those with markedly lower incomes will be celebrating this evening the new era of prosperity and enlightenment.

Well, there you go again, trapped in that Bush Derangement Syndrome mental prison. The facts are outside the prison. Try checking them, and yourself, out.

And don't forget the food..we are shipping grain out of this country like there is no tomorrow. Just check the numbers of our strategic reserves..lots of "0". But I bet few, if any, know about it or even know what this is.
