My impression is that non-black intervention is almost always required in order to provide stability to a society. Haiti is a prime example.

Other opinions?

I've heard good things about Barbados and Ghana. I think Brazil and South Africa are also on their way to 1st world status. There are also the Melanesian Pacific Islands, even though I've not seen them much in the news, no news = good news so they might not be all bad. Indians come in pretty dark shades (blacker than many afro-americans) too.

I'm sure you could look it up on Google. The data is readily available.

Brazil is mostly white and multiracial. Blacks are about 7% of the population there.

Haiti may be poor, but they're very polite during this time of chaos.

Actually, there are a few countries with black majorities that have high GDP per capitas.

Bermuda - GDP per capita $69,900
Bahamas - GDP per capita $30,000
Barbados - GDP per capita $19,000

Barbados is obviously a bit lower, and coud still be considered Developing, but its standard of living is better than poland and Russia, which people don't usually affiliate with poverty.

Obviously, these countries have some similarities, such as being in the Carribean, and having economies based almost entirely on tourism.

These are the only nations that I know of that have good standards of living and Black majorities. A few countries in Africa, such as Gabon and S. Africa, and Botswana, rank in the middle catagory.

Aren't these countries prosperous as a result of British colonization?
