I can see it happening or certainly more of a balance. Ca has not always been blue and with the present situation we may see a lot of changes. People in the state are fed up with what is or should we say, is not happening.

People in California are seeing that there need to be some limits on government's tax and spending, and not every tear jerking social program deserves to be funded. The democratic party libs in California know no limits to government spending, nor do they see limits to the demands of liberal special interest groups.

They have no where left to go, except a move to the right.

List of Governors of California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's funny that we vote for Republican governors more times than not.

It's probably our way of trying to put ourselves in check. I guess it isn't working.

We (not me) impeached Gray Davis for raising a licence tax. He at least tried to do something about the budget, but after nothing being done by Schwarzenegger even after this crisis, nothing is being done.

I say vote them all out and start over.

Illinois is not far behind California in the race to bankruptcy. Years of liberal legislation will do that to a state.

I'd have to disagree.

U.S. threatens to rescind stimulus money over wage cuts

The Obama administration threatens to rescind billions in stimulus money if Gov. Schwarzenegger and lawmakers do not restore wage cuts to unionized home healthcare workers.

I will admit I don't think he is doing enough. I also got to say that I don't think our state legistature has the political will to ax or scale back all the social programs that bloated during our economic boom in the earlier part of the 2000s. Increasing taxes is not the solution.
