Of course he has. How long has it been since a Democratic President has had his own lap dog Congress? You say this like it's a good thing. It's NOT! Our government was established to have checks and balances. We haven't had that this past year. Obama and his Congress have been acting like 3-year-olds in a candy store with pockets full of money. It's dangerous, it's destructive, and it's the worst I've seen in 40+ years of watching government. I just hope our nation can recover from this administration. I'm getting very worried.

Can you honestly tell me this is not a liberal based magazine?
What did I expect? I expected people to actually open the link and take a look. Instead, they launch into childish attack on Newsweek, who did not even conduct the study, but only reported it. Nothing on the topic itself. What you are saying is that if Newsweek covers a story, be it sports of weather or anything, it should be rejected right off the bat. How closed minded can you possibly get?

No, I don't agree on your opinion take on Newsweek. Sorry.

Latest newsweek cover: "Children of Bin Laden" a report on terrorism. Oh, sooooo liberal.

Why don't you open a thread about newsweek if that is what you want to talk about.

Go back a bit further....
Newsweek covers - Google Search

Atta boy.

Headlines are blatant, in your face, undeniable.

For a sneakier analysis: Pay special to photos of Republicans versus photos of Democrats. Some are NOT flattering... others are flattering.

But to Republicans who joke Obama has done nothing, and to Obama's liberal critics who vent about the same, a study done by Congressional Quarterly suggests they are both wrong. CQ rates Obama higher than any president in the last five decades in working his will on Capitol Hill, surpassing even the fabled Lyndon Johnson. Obama's success rate in the House and Senate on votes where he staked out a clear position was 96.7 percent, beating previous record-holder Johnson's 93 percent in 1965.
0bama's political party owns both houses in congress, and has a super majority, when is the last time we had that in recent history?

Besides, it looks more like the legislature is the one getting their agenda passed. 0bama cannot close GITMO, cannot get universal health care, cannot get those C-SPAN cameras, and cannot follow thru on a lot of his campaign promises or Executive orders, because he cannot find the leadership to lead the senate and congress, they apparently aren't listening to him.

Let's see:

The new global elite (pic of Obama)

Sarah Palin - She is one of the folks

War on Pain

The most dangerous nation on earth - Pakistan

The decline of Christian America - wake up call for Christians

Roots of Fear

Inside story of America's craziest election

Are we all socialist now? (questioning Bush/Obama policies)

Are we losing in Afghanistan?

Sorry, but I just don't see how those topics are liberal or conservative, they are just topics of current issues. Take your blinders off. Maybe you should try reading the paper as opposed to just looking at the front covers.

Again, go open a new thread on Newsweek since you hate them so much.

Almost every other cover of Newsweek has a flattering photo or image of 0bama, I'm sure that is what he was referring to.

The photos and images of republicans are dark or very unflattering.

In all honesty, I'd go easy on them. I think it's really hard on a lot of people to see evidence that Obama is successful. They were convinced he would be a failure and it's difficult for peoples' pride to accept the reality that he's far from it.

Thats not a Liberal viewpoint?

Take a look at the picture. A close up of half her face and you can see her pores. Compare to flattering pictures of Obama smiling. "folks"? what is being suggested there?

Again.... you posted an article from NEWSWEEK as a reliable source of Obama's success. This is the same as someone posting a Fox News piece suggesting the opposite. Do you not see this?

I did look at the article... plus you posted the lead in paragraph that gives the gist.

I read the Wall St Journal and I am objective enough to understand this is a Conservative, pro fre market publication. If I posted something from WSJ in favor of free markets and someone told me to consider the source... I would understand what they were saying.

Time and Newsweek are nothing but propaganda tools for obama and the democrats;

Obama appeared on half of Time covers - First Read - msnbc.com

Quote:
Time has featured Obama on its cover 14 times since Jan. 1. Newsweek was close behind, featuring the now-president-elect on 12 of its issues.

Newsweek has had 49 issues this year so far (through Dec. 22), so Obama has been featured on about a quarter of its covers as well.
I'd say that's a lovefest.
