Always unexpectedly with these people.

Initial jobless claims unexpectedly increase - Yahoo! The Labor Department said Thursday that initial claims for unemployment insurance rose by 36,000 to a seasonally adjusted 482,000. Wall Street economists had expected a small drop.

The total number of people receiving benefits, meanwhile, rose sharply as more recipients began receiving emergency extended benefits, paid for by the federal government.
More evidence of obama's failed economic policy.

Go ahead obama, spend another 8 months focusing like a tone-deaf laser beam on health care...that the people DO NOT want.

I hope he stops all taxes today. Keeps fighting the wars and invades Iran. Put in a law that says no more taxes can be started up so that when scott brown gets there he cant spend everything the way conservatives allways do let the dems save and then they spend. Even with that the [MOD CUT/language] would still want him gone forever and anyone who looks like him too.

I thought the unemployment rate would never go above 8%?

I thought we were going to create 5 million new high paying jobs?

Guess that second stimulus is need to get the first one working.

So can we look for new records for Obama in 2010 like he set last year for the most foreclosures, bankruptcies, homeless, car repo's etc?

ObamaNOmics is surely working out well!!!

Sanrene, it took the fool almost a year to say the word jobs. He is not interested in creating jobs. He wants people to lose their homes etc so he can force them onto government assistance. It is all about the control. Exactly what he taught as a left wing radical professor.

He will.

Currently planning on another $1.9 trillion in spending. It is what true believers in the superstate do.

Unemployment is going to get a lot worse before it gets better and I am looking for an official 12% by June 1. November will see republicans take both the house and the senate. Biggest shock for statists ever.

What he needs to do is cut taxes and remove half the regulatory burden that is killing American businesses.

He is up to something. He wants to lift the debt again so it tells me he is up to something fishy.

He knows he caused Coakley and other dems to lose so he now will FINALLY focus on jobs.

He will either find a way to create millions of fake min wage jobs to make it appear better or he will scam the numbers to make it look like he is doing something.

He is going to cut taxes for 95% of ALL AMERICANS remember?

When he lets the Bush tax cuts go you will see a ton of more laid off workers real quick. Wait and see.

The guy has been a complete and utter failure.

The gift that keeps on giving.

Funny how Bush was Teflon. Nothing that happened during his eight years stuck to him. It was someone else's fault. But now, everything is Obama's fault. Does anyone on the right actually have a brain?

Your last paragraph is just pure rubbish. Do you have any proof that he wants to do these things? Why does the right argue like this: "he WANTS to ..."? How convenient to make a claim that cannot be known by the claimant! You could just as easily write "He wants to kill your children" and then walk away. This is what passes for intelligent discourse in the 21st century?

There is only one sentence in your rant that I agree with but I have enough sense to realize it is non-partisan and non-ideological. "It is all about the control." Clearly, the masks worn by the two parties are just for show. There is no difference between them, so I don't bother to assign blame to just one of them and people would be wise to follow suit. Control is the endgame here. It is being implemented in slow increments. Lessons have been learned from prior mistakes and the process has become much more surgical in its precision. It doesn't matter who's been elected, who's been propped up before the podium to lie to us. It's all just a movie with a proposed bad ending.

Do something to change the outcome. Instead of pointing blame and going nuts on one side of an illusional division, work together to find solutions and focus your energies toward a common solution. Make that your job. Fighting each other does nothing but empower the real enemies.

You may want to try and understand why there were increased claims.

Here comes the excuses.

Not long ago when the numbers took a small dip some of you Obama supporters said it was NOT due to seasonal factors, now you are saying it is.

Goodness.

Remember what the dunce said.

It will never go above 8%!

Did he lie or just had no damn clue what he was talking about?

What are you going to say when it hits 11-12-13?
