The tenaments immigrants were forced to live in as well as labor conditions in factories were injustices. The people behind them were not "responsible people" nor was anything illegitimately taken from them. Thanks to Progressives I can work at my own will, make a fair wage and live in a safe apartment building.

But surely those progs, as you call them, failed to get the real social justice of income redistribution and although some things got better the poor never did draw even so now we have to rely on government to take the wealth of the wealthy and redistribute it to the poor people. I call that buying votes but you think of it as social justice.
As you drink clean water, breath decent air, are able to vote not matter what your color or sex, know that if you are injured at work you have worker's compensation, live in a nation where the elderly do not live in poverty, where you can use a public library, benefit from the railroads, enjoy the benefits of the interstates, it is easy to decry what progressives have done.

and in order to do all these GREAT "progressive" things we must steel the money to do it from the hard workers here in this country.....BSBSBS Progressive are just sly thieves.
No response to that. So progressives must believe that it is ok to steal, as long as it is from the people who work hard and make money.....what happens if everyone stops working? How will it go then. Who would they steal the money from to pay everyone to live?
I think I can help many of you stop calling yourselves progressive when speaking about politics. I can only do that if I can convince you that you know little or nothing about that history.
I have read enough today from many who claim to be liberal Democrats and who support that kind in Congress who are little more than progressives that really don't want many things you want.
Ok, now join many in this country who have heard about the documentary that will be shown by Glenn Beck tomorrow. It is called "Live Free, Or Die" and I think will convince many that we have been crapped on for way too long. He is explaining right now what is on there and it is very scary for anyone. You will be able to find out some very good things about what progressives really stand for and have for so long.
Please, watch it at 4:00 CST or 5:00 EST tomorrow. If you can't see it as I can't, record it any way you can. See it for your own good since I think you will find that it isn't just a pile of crap like so many would expect because it is Beck's documentary. Watch this and then lets talk about how right or wrong it was. If you don't see it please don't tell me how bad it was because that is pure following of progressive doctrine. Some won't like it because it is largely about collectivism and how successful collectivists, or progressives have been in the past.
OK, the Beck crazy has done his thing. Now each of you do yours or take the word of progressives like Andy Stern who says the old communist saying of workers of the world unite is no longer just some words but we have come to the place where we need to use force for that uniting.

A progressive tax system is one of the basic tenants of capitalism. It sounds like you need to read Adam Smith's landmark tome on this.
