And your point is... what?

To quote Democrats during the Bush 41 campaign: "It's the economy, stupid!"

In case you haven't noticed, the economy is in the dumpster under Obama. Everybody is laying off and downsizing their operations.

Are you surprised? You shouldn't be.

Obama owns it. This is his doing. He cannot any longer blame Bush. It's been a full year. He has made what was a bad situation an absolute disaster; yet he still blames Bush! The man is an idiot, and a total failure.

This is what you get when you elect someone to be president who has no useful experience doing anything. This is the "community organizer" as President. He now has to accomplish something; only he has never accomplished anything in his life.

You voted for the idiot. You got what you voted for.

Oh, how we long for the days of peace and prosperity under Bush&Co.

Although I do not like Wal-Mart and prefer mom-and-pop retailers, Wal-Mart has hired an average of 5,000 workers a month during this awful recession.

Just want all the socialists to know, since they are "so busy" trying to figure out how to create more jobs on the way to a workers' Obamatopia. (sure!)

Actually, we do. At least Bush&Co knew how to paddle a boat, while U.S.S. Obamatanic continues to sink.

Wow! Big of them because we all know how well they treated their employees. Maybe the the mega greedy corporate giant should start a new division that buys stuff made in the USA!

If Walmart was boycotted until they only sold things made in the USA, this would be the most patriotic thing an American could do concerning the issue of unfair trade agreements and job loss.
If it were appealing to manufacture things in the USA, companies would do it in a heartbeat. The government has made it horribly un-profitable to do so.

And there are so many people that ride Walmart for cheap stuff, but there are millions of people that shop there because it's all they can afford. People that don't have a lot of money can still purchase things at Walmart. How? They get it made cheaply and thus can sell it cheaply.

If Walmart upped their prices to get everything made in the US, the same people would be b****ing about them being too expensive because poorer folk can't shop there.

It's a catch 22 with you people.

You could become super-rich by testing out your own theory and creating this type of company. Go for it, it's still a free country, until Obama shoots you down.

"I would argue that from an economic standpoint it's somewhat nominal," said David Strasser, a retail analyst with Janney Montgomery Scott. "It looks a lot worse than it really is from a layoff standpoint. My read is the majority of employees are going to be picked up by Shopper Events."

So, what is your point exactly?
Unions would make something like Sam's or Price Club (now Costco) imposible. Unions would have driven them out of busineess years ago.

Unions are a parasite that eventually kills the host.
