Troubled Asset Relief Program. Troubled Consumer Jobs Creation program.
How do you make jobs without money? How do you make money wthout jobs? How can you kill that, which has no life?
Yes, we need another stimulus. You don't get out of a recession by cutting spending. You have to stimulate the economy through government spending. It's the only thing that works.
I have been saying as far back as November 08 that if every American household (all 115 million) had been given $10K we would be a lot better off now. Instead they gave it to you know who and we are still in 'it. The four harshest words in the English language: "I told you so".
stimulus=more debt, borrowing, welfare job programs, taxes, currency devaluation, then the final collapse into a dawn of the dead world of burning cities and roaming gangs.
There was another one passed shortly after the ARRA totaling around $400 billion in spending, but the name escapes me. There were also several dozen different bills to bailout various financial institutions and of course the auto bailouts.
No, no more stimulas packages. The last one saw the company I work for lose 500 people.
WalMArt just let 11000 people go this weekend. Is that what the last stimulas did?
Please, they (government) have done enough, its time to move out of the way.
You would want another stimulus if you want a bigger political slush fund for the Dems, not if you want to create jobs.
The last $787 billion Dem slush fund resulted in a loss of 2,700,000 jobs lost.
