Why the Progressives fear Beck - or anyone who dares to challenge folks to think - is that their agenda is slavery.
The mathematical logic of morality can often pierce the most clever slogans of the socialist / collectivist / progressive chanters.
For example, when confronted with "No one should (suffer / die) because they do not have (fill in the blank)" is overturned by the simple preface: " No one should be compelled to endure involuntary servitude so that..."
Even the most single minded leftist / progressive / collectivist / predator cannot outwardly admit that SLAVERY is a solution to the ills of mankind.

No one should die because they lack health care.

Beck did say today that neither Democrats or liberals are to be feared other than those who are progressives. He said that the progressives in the Dem party who really control it these days are the ones to be feared. He even names names.
Beck claims that it's not the average Democrat that is the threat to our country, it's the Progressive.
I disagree.
Obama claims that the blacks are not smart enough to know who to vote for without the D after their name.

I don't entirely agree with Glenn that Democrats (traditional) are not a threat. They have always been more "socialist" in nature. But the "Progressive branch" is definitely a threat. There are Republican Progressives too. They all must be defeated.

I somewhat agree with Beck. I know so many Democrats that are Democrats via heritage. Their grandparents voted Democrat, their parents and so they vote Democrat without even thinking about it. When you question them about some of the things you support by voting Democrat, they are against them; like abortion, legalized drugs, gay issues and gay indoctrination to very young children in the schools.
Then why the push by the Progressive Democrats, to rid the Blue-dogs out of the party?
Because the Proggies have hijacked the former, Democratic Party. The traditional Blue Dogs are in their way......and must get steamrolled now.
