Apparently you failed to listen to Obama's State of the Union address or you would have immediately recognized the source.

To those who have been standing on the wall, watching the fire approach, it is gratifying that more Americans are waking up.

A government should only do two jobs - secure rights and govern those who consent.

Unfortunately, the thieves of socialism (or progressives, or collectivists) have infiltrated the U.S. governments. They have promulgated the fraud that voters can vote themselves infinite benefits without ever paying the price.

But government can only give that which it takes from someone else (after taking a cut for the management).

Government makes nothing but more government.

Can you name ONE government service that is more cost effective, efficient, or better performing than the private sector?

Our infrastructure is crumbling - but few recall that it was the GOVERNMENT that took it over, in the early 20th century. And their answer to their mismanagement : "Give us more taxes!"

Our industries are driven away by profit stealing burdens and profit eating bureaucrats, and the government keeps blaming "greed"! No company can long afford to stay in business when the government imposed burdens eat it up.

Our workers are suffering from "too much socialism", taxing away more of their wages, while the wages drop in buying power - due to the government. And all they can say is "boost the minimum wage!" But who can afford the increase in personnel costs? Doesn't anyone in the government understand that the real taxpayer is the customer... and he's buying foreign made, because he can't afford American taxes hidden in American made goods and services.

I hope the American people recognize that the only way we will have an economic expansion is when we have a government contraction.

Hopefully, the new slate of candidates, for 2010, will have half a brain, and stand up for cutting back government.

Cut government expenditures by 25%, in 2011, or don't bother running for office in 2010.

If they don't stop the parasites in government, there may not be elections in 2012, because the United States of America won't be around. It will be the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America, with guaranteed jobs, in government, for everyone... just like the former Soviet Union... the worker's paradise!
