I can only imagine this happening to my wife, daughter or girlfriend ONCE. Any delay in investigation or prosecution would have very serious results for the perpetrators. Justice delayed is justice denied. Justice must never be denied.

Frankin has proposed very sensible legislation. I hope it passes.

I agree. They would rather have the President of Venezuela buy our elections than give credit to a Senator with a "D" after his name. And they have the nerve to say that Obama is trying to destroy this country.

I applaud Senator Franken for his efforts.

The law that everyone keeps referencing says only that corporations must be chartered in the U.S. The assumption at the time was that U.S. companies would be solely U.S. owned. That is no longer the case.
Senator Franken is simply addressing the reality of global commerce in the 21st century - the implications of which probably could not have been not conceived of when that law was written.

They don't need to be involved in our elections. Foreign governments are gaining plenty of influence by lending us more than we can afford to pay.
