Understand though..without the "shouting" the school district would not have been made aware of what happened.

So all the hand wringing did pay off...an honest mistake corrected once it was brought to his attention. Remember..if you don't speak up then mistakes cannot be corrected.

Maybe the parent could have tried taking it to the school district and principal first.

Well we don't know if they did and got unsatisfactory results.

I know when my son was in HS there were times when issues fell on deaf ears in the school. Making them public though seemed to light a fire under some seats to get stuff corrected. Apathy is rampant in America.
