Anyone who follows politics should know that whoever is in the WH gets a small bump after the speech.

He got his fake bump and it will start going back down tomorrow.

Didn't he start with a 70 or something approval rating? What happened?

Wouldn't anyone who "follows politics" know a newly elected President enjoys his high approval ratings at the beginning of his term?

Here is Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, and Bush....since you know so much about Presidential approval, tell what President did not see a decline in approval 1 year into his term? (Bush got a booost right at that point to do the start of Iraq War.)

Obama begins to abandon his far left agenda( at least he says he will) and begins to adopt a more conservative approach to governing. His poll numbers bounce up. And liberals are happy?

Obama Approval Hits 50% After Stretch of Sub-50 Ratings
Hilarious! From a high of 70% all the way down to 50 is something to be celebrating?

Ready to be schooled?

He got a itty bitty bump in the polls.

Where did the "bump" come from?

Democrats. In fact, Indies disapprove now more than before the speech.

Quote:
Sixty-four percent (64%) of Democrats now Strongly Approve, up from 50% before the speech. However, the speech appears to have had the opposite impact on unaffiliated voters. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 50% now Strongly Disapprove. That’s up from 42% before the speech.
Ouch!

Ahhh. We knew someone had to play that well-worn race card.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

No he hasn't. You have a few outliers, but most of the polls are within a point or two of each other. 50 and below.

It will be really interesting to see the polls numbers in summer, especially if UE continues to hover around 10%.

Yep.

Especially if the Tea Baggers ALL come to Washington and STAY.....indefinitely!

Camp out.....for a month or two and "invoke" the REAL change that is desperately needed.

Shut DC DOWN..... and show "Nancy on the Hill".......what 1 or 2 million astroturfers CAN DO when they surround the Capitol Bldg, the Mall, Lincoln Mem. and of course.......all around the WH.

The 9/12 tea party thing last year was a good start......but they should NEVER have left DC!

REAL change won't come if people only make a weekend thing of their animosity toward these politicians.
