Simply an utter take down of the right wing myth that only "citizens" have Constitutional rights.
After you read this, you almost feel sorry for these right wing dupes who can't hold a candle to this writer when it comes to expert analysis of Constitutional matters.
Actually, it would make sense that our founding fathers would want natural law to apply to anyone they deal with. Our rights are not given to us by government but by our Creator.

Don't push your fairy tales here. It's off topic. There is a whole other forum for Bible thumpers to spread their delusions.

People who join the military actually are not afforded "Constitutional protection".. Have you ever heard of a military trial? There are times that the Constitutional protection does not even protect our own citizens let alone terrorists..
You are wrong. It was an absolutely on-topic statement. Don't let your hatred of Christians hide historical fact.

Considering our founding fathers were not christians, I indeed agree with you.. Only 1 signer of the Declaration of Independence was a catholic (Charles Carroll), the other 55 held other religions with the majority of them, (32) Episcopalian, and only 2 signers of the Constitution were catholic, (Daniel Carroll and Thomsas Fitzsimons).
If you object to the fact that our rights are given to us by our creator, then yes...and you can be an atheist and still believe in a creator. That creator could be your lineage, or the concept of humanity in general. Basically, it's to think outside the box and not believe that government entitles you to these rights, because they would take it away from you if they could.
