Would Obama really do something like this? (deportation, invasion, school)

Two words. Photo shop. How else do you explain the sun being at the mayors back AND Obama's back? I believe you can even see the cut-in line at his wrist.
It's not photoshopped. The mayor was even on the news talking about it.
Mayor Pam Iorio has decided to halt proclamations of an annual day in Tampa for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an organization that says it seeks to defend the civil rights of Muslims in the U.S., but has been accused of terrorist links.
Iorio has proclaimed a "CAIR Day" each fall since 2005. The organization has an active chapter in Tampa.
Among other activities, the group has defended Youssef Megahed, a University of South Florida student arrested in 2007 on explosives charges along with another student who was accused of aiding terrorists. Megahed was acquitted but is now subject to deportation proceedings.
She is a proponent of CAIR.

Tampa Mayor Honors Extremism (http://97.74.65.51/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=33299 - broken link)
Tampa has had an Islamic terrorism problem for more than two decades. Elements of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood have infected the population, rendering it vulnerable to those who wish to do harm to the city.
From August of 1986 till February of 2003, when he was taken into custody by law enforcement, Sami Al-Arian, a university professor, built an entire PIJ infrastructure within the Tampa area. He did so in the guise of a charity, a think tank, a children’s school and a mosque -- the latter two still in existence.
Youssef Megahed and Ahmed Mohamed, Tampa-area university students, were arrested in South Carolina, in August of 2007, and indicted for possession of explosive materials which were found in the trunk of their car. Mohamed later pled guilty to a separate charge of trying to assist terrorists by creating a video demonstrating how to use a remote-controlled toy to detonate a bomb.
From June of 2004 till July of 2006, the Tampa office of the Muslim American Society (MAS-Tampa) posted onto its website violent material, including one text calling on Muslims to “wage jihad until death.” Other subjects found on the site dealt with the beheading of Jews and the burning of homosexuals.
Didn't Tampa just receive a big railroad contact from the government?

The thing you quote, and even its title, say explicitly she canceled proclamations of a CAIR Day. So, she's not a proponent of CAIR.

The mayor is not the Muslim American Society, Tampa office.
Even though the article's title is "mayor honors extremism," the article doesnt back that up.
As for your insinuations regarding "a big railroad contract from the government...."
"That is one nutty hospital." -- Bill Murray, Tootsie (1982)
The picture, frozen in time, appears more damning than it is.
To see the video of the meeting, it's apparent that the Mayor is thanking him and telling him how glad she is to have him in her city.
He responds with, what I can only call, a humble bow of thanks.
There was no long pause, like in his bows to other world leaders.
I wasn't a fan of those bows, but this one is very tame and nothing to get bent out of shape over....IMO

Wrong. The sun is behind FL Gov. Charlie Crist, the Naval officer, and the vehicle, it is to the side of the Mayor of Tampa and Obama.
Yes, he bowed, again. A lifetime of bowing conditioned into him as a young Indonesian Muslim is a hard habit to break.
bowing is a sign of respect and for some reason Americans think it is cow towing! Amazingly the US military salutes as well!
It is not a sign of weakness.

Showing respect for someone is a sign of weakness.... OK. I show my wife respect all the time. She shows respect to me. I've bowed to her family and friends. (It's a Japanese thing.)
Contemptuousness is all I see here. Move along. Thread sucks.
