"Massachusetts and Vermont -- along with the District of Columbia -- have the greatest percentage of self-identified liberals."

The Democrats are in real trouble.

That video is an example of slimy racist propaganda, trying to play the green factor,sounding..."progressive "...

Of course it is a total lie...

Check Germany & Japan on the world map. U can barely find them. Yet,they house ...200m people,in fairly acceptable living conditions, with parks, countryside ,green areas, forests & so on...

That video is a ridiculous lie & unfortunately it defames rightful scepticism about immigration...
If immigration is to be tightened, then higher qualifications should be required...

Already the qualifications for the top visa, the H1b are high...A Bachelor's degree...

How many U.S citizens have such a degree...?

Gallup tends to over-sample Republicans. if they would've thrown in Moderate, you would've gotten a lot more answers.

"Conservative" is no longer snynonimous with Republicans. Dubya put the final nail in that coffin.

Notice that most of the most conservative states are among the poorest as well as most religious in the union, such as Alabama, though Oklahoma isn't as poor as it used to be, thanks to the oil and gas industry doing Ok.

There is nothing "racist" or false about the video. But I do see a lot of ignorant statements.

"How to Lie with Statistics"

If you dig a little deeper, you'll see that Colorado is in the mid-range for both, as it should be.

It is a totally useless and stupid poll. When you ask a person "are you conservative or liberal" and try to pigeon hole them, you will never ever get an accurate reading as to what they really think because most of us- yes even me- are conservative on some issues and liberal on others. When you start asking questions on specific issues then liberalism usually wins. If the nation were that right wing it would not have voted for the huge majorities for the "more liberal" Democrats or elected a Democrat President.
